Shari Wladis

I’m Shari, nice to meet you!

EdTech EASE was founded in 2016 to promote innovative STEAM, technology integration and differentiated education to schools everywhere. Shari Wladis has over 20 years experience in classrooms, leading professional development, coaching teachers, and successfully integrating technology in the classroom.

EdTechEASE offers Consulting and Professional Learning services.

Shari has approached education from a variety of lenses, from teaching a Developmental Kindergarten class to supporting adolescents recovering from mental health issues to being the Principal at a private K-8th grade school. Through these experiences, Shari has become proficient in designing effective ways for differentiating as well as integrating technology into curriculums. In her former role as Principal, she coached current and new teachers in technology integration and differentiating for the needs of the students.

Shari co-created her former school’s first MakerSpace, an Innovation Lab. Instructing, not only the students but also the faculty, in Design Thinking. This proactive approach to infusing technology in a thoughtful, effective way has allowed this iLab to flourish as an exciting learning space. Using a challenge/problem based approach and co-designing a framework for developmentally teaching coding to elementary students.

Currently, Shari is CEO and Director of Professional Learning of EdTech Ease, an edtech consulting company. She served on the Florida Kindergarten Council (FKC) Board. Shari continues to serve as a member on FCIS accreditation teams. Shari holds a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration as well as a Master of Arts degree, with a concentration in Special Education and Specialization in Learning Disabilities. Shari is a certified Apple Teacher and a BrainPOP Certified Educator. Shari is also a Common Sense Media Ambassador and Google for Education Certified Educator Level 1.
