A Pause Button

Just a heads up: this is not a “deep” blog post. It is not even going to be very long. I am about to see my youngest at college this weekend and I am already wishing the weekend won’t end, so now that I have set the mood.

I am sure that you have been to dinner with good friends and it’s time to pay the check and all you can think is, ‘I don’t want this to end!’ What about a quiet Sunday (I know… what educator has quiet Sundays)? Maybe you are watching football or a movie with your family, you look around and just wish for the afternoon not to end. How about that moment in your classroom when you look up at the clock and realize that your kids need to get to their special class or lunch…but the kids are engaged and the magic of learning is just electrifying the classroom atmosphere! What you wish for is A Pause Button!

We all know about the Easy Button but my thought about that button is anything worth doing requires a bit of work. But that feeling when everything is just falling into place in the class, Wow, that can’t be beat! Wouldn’t A Pause Button be awesome!

When else would A Pause Button be great? Love to hear your thoughts. Comment here or reach out via twitter (@edtechease); Instagram or Facebook (EdTech EASE).
